  • The RS8 features dual 6˝-inch C-CAM (Ceramic Coated Aluminum Magnesium) woofers, a 6˝-inch C-CAM midrange driver, and a 1-inch C-CAM gold dome tweeter.
  • The RS8 woofers and midrange driver incorporate new edge-wound voice coils to provide increased efficiency, output, and power handling. The new voice coils have more copper and heat capacity than conventional voice coils resulting in 91dB efficiency and 175-watt power handling for the RS8. The speaker’s dynamic range is also increased because the ‘start-and-stop’ of the new voice coil more efficiently converts incoming signal into motion.
  • The RS8’s 2˝-way, four driver design is optimized by an integral structure of dedicated driver chambers (a sealed enclosure for the midrange and a ported enclosure for the dual woofers) providing increased bass extension while maintaining high overall efficiency.
